Sylvester's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (All) | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Male | ID#: | 2758 (LBB) | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Sweet and personable, this beautiful, sleek boy is the perfect companion. Sylvester thrives on human companionship and loves company. His favorite pastimes include keeping a close eye on his foster family’s comings and goings, looking over his foster mom’s shoulder at the computer, and giving kisses and snuggles.
Sylvester had a rocky start. Rescued as a tiny kitten with double eye infections and a broken tail at a TNR site, he nearly succumbed to an upper respiratory infection. Then, at 5 months of age, it was discovered that Sylvester had two dislocated knees; however, after a successful operation, he blossomed and is now strong and healthy and runs, jumps and plays like any other kitty.
No aloof cattitude for him -- Sylvester loves being the center of attention and dreams of having a forever home of his own!
Sylvester is neutered, has tested negative for feline leukemia and aids is up to date on all his vaccinations.

Rescue Group Info...
Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.
Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at www.adoptapet.com.
Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.
For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.
Thanks from the cats
and all of us at Stray Cat Blues!
