Hi! My name is Pink Moon, I'm the only girl in the Moon Litter. I look a lot like my brother Moon Dust, but I know I'm prettier. My foster mom calls me Pinky because I'm soft hearted, gentle, and pretty with just a touch of prissy thrown in. I used to be the biggest of the litter, but my brother's have all passed me; bunch of food gobblers. Next to Moon Rock, I'm the quietest one of the bunch. That's why the two of us spend so much time together. I love being a big sister to my little brother, even if he's not so little any more. My foster mom tells me, "Curiosity kills the cat." I hope she's wrong, because I am so curious. I want to know everything that's happening. If there's a noise, I have to find out what it is. If there's a toy, I have to see what it does. If there's a tower to climb, I'll be on top. If there's a tunnel to traverse, I'll be in it. I'll do it all with Rocky right behind me egging me on. I love people too, but I don't want constant attention. I'm a bit aloof. Treat me with love and affection though, and I'll be loyal to you forever. I'll behave best if a have a playmate like me, especially if it's my brother Moon Rock. I do so much better with him around. I purr to tell you when I'm happy and let out a meow to let you know when I want or need something. I'm not very loud or demanding so it's good to keep an eye on me to make sure my curiosity doesn't get me into a bind. I don't scratch or bite when I'm handled for routine care; the prissy in me will let you know when I've had more than enough attention. I know there are dogs in the house, and I don't care. Paying absolutely no attention to dogs is the best way to exist with them in my opinion. I'm going to sleep on the softest thing I can find, so I'll need a nice, soft bed. I also need good food to keep me healthy and my fur shiny. A girl wants to look her best. If you asked me to describe an ideal home, I'd say a quiet environment where my quiet nature can flourish. Above all else, it would be a purr-fect furr-ever home to call my own. http://pawsforlifenc.org/pet-adoptions/cat-adoptions/cat-adoption-form/
