From the Foster:

Catrina is a very sweet girl that spent the first part of her young life having babies, but now is ready for the sweet life of just being a loved pet! There are a few things to know about Catrina before applying though - and I would really recommend reading about Cane Corso's too if you aren't familiar with the breed.  Her quirks are very breed specific so that may help you know what she will be like as a family member.   1 - She is a pretty alpha female.  She seems in general to do better with smaller dogs but its hit or miss with others and she will need proper introductions to all new dogs to see how the friendship will go!  She's not an easy one to handle with other dogs so being an only pet might be the easiest route    2.  She is very protective of her people, like all good mastiff breeds!  Her family is her family.  I do think with a confident handler her reactions will minimize, but she is not a fan of strangers approaching or of them in her home.  She is good with "her" kids, but I wouldn't recommend her in a house that has a lot of them coming and going.  If you have a social house that entertains a lot of people, she might not be the best fit.  She is a super sweet dog with her family and well behaved with her people but does have those quirks about her that will require a knowledgeable handler and someone able to safely manage her, and love her for those quirks, too!
