Yessiree, I'm the real McCoy! I'm an energetic 54 lb. pup who loves everyone. My ideal family would be able to provide me with some training and attention. I will make a great family member, I just need to know the rules and boundaries. I would make a great pal for older children. As a spirited, energetic guy I could spend the day playing. Say the word walk, and I'm raring to go and I'm happy to show you my great leash manners. I also like to lounge around, as even I can get tired. I'm good in the car so we can explore lots of places together. I'm a bit selective about my dog pals, and I just don't like kitty cats. Loyal and faithful friendship is waiting for you at the shelter. Please come meet me in person, and ask for the real McCoy.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
