Hello! My name is Sei (pronounced Say) Bella but my foster family calls me Bella most of the time. Sei Bella means you are beautiful in Italian which my foster mom thought was very fitting. I am a sweet girl, love my foster family and really enjoy being with them. I love to start my night laying on their chest for a few minutes soaking up all the attention I can get. I then move to the bed and sometimes underneath so I can be near them all night long. I really like wet food but I eat dry food too. My foster mom is pretty fanatical about keeping my litter box clean so I have come pretty used to that. My foster family does not have a dog so I am not real sure how I feel about those. They do have three cats though and I was just being introduced to them when I came to meet you. I did pretty good and only hissed a few times but I know that would have gotten better if I had had a little more time with them. Now I want to have time with you so I sure hope you give me that chance.

About Humane Society of Greater Dayton

About Our Shelter...

We are a 501 (c) (3) shelter committed to finding great homes for great pets! We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations to do what we do for the animals in our community. We have low-cost spay/ neuter programs for dogs and cats in the community as well as offering Trap Neuter Release services for cats. We take in strays and owner-release animals and find them homes. We are the only animal organization in the area who will take in any animal species such as farm and exotic animals. We employ one humane investigator as well who is available to check out neglect and cruelty calls. We also offer humane education opportunities for children and adults.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have pets up for adoption at our shelter on Nicholas Rd., and we also have cats up for adoption at our Meowza Cat Boutique inside the Dayton Mall. Meowza's phone number is 937-434-MEOW. We also have cats up for adoption at various pet supplies stores in the Dayton area. Interested persons can get a list of these stores from our website or can call us at 937-268-PETS (7387).

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters must fill out an adoption application, visit with the animal, and pay the adoption fee before they can adopt.
