Facts about Sammy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair/Domestic Shorthair Mix
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 34326822
  • Hair: Unknown
Sammy is a sweet and shy and has fur like a little rabbit. He is so cute, and slinks around but desperately desires attention and loves to be held and pet. He also LOVES other kitties and would do great in a home with a friendly dog (he also likes dogs) or a cat.
Sammy was a transfer from another facility as a very small kitten and after being adopted was returned for being unable to care for him.
Sammy has FeLV, so a home with other FeLV kitties and indoors is the very best for him! If you would like to learn more about Sammy, please call his foster mom Liz at #727.459.0401 or email lolson@humanesocietyofsedona.org :).
We hope you'll give Sammy a chance, he is a great little kitty who needs a special person to call his own!

About Humane Society of Sedona

About Our Shelter...

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
