The mission of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society is the prevention of cruelty to companion animals, to educate the general public of the responsibility and proper care and treatment of companion animals. To find good homes for any animal that is entrusted in our care. We are a Non-profit organization, and licensed by the Georgia State Department of Agriculture. Please note that we are also Animal Control for the County and many of our fine pets end up being euthanized because we do not have enough adoptions or space to house them all. After verification, we do work with certified Rescue Groups to help find homes for our pets.
