Stevie has been patiently waiting for his forever home for quite some time. He came to Luvable in September 2014!!!!! He came to us from Heartland Humane Society because he was so stressed out in the shelter environment he was not adoptable. Here at Luvable he has bonded strongly to us and is a sweet cuddle bug but he had some behavioral issues that a new home would need to be aware of.

Stevie is looking for an adult only and cat free home! He is good with other dogs (he lives with both males and females just fine at Luvable) but likes his alone time. He needs a confident person to be his leader but also be extra loving! Is that you? Stevie will bond very strongly and be forever grateful to find his special person or family to be with! Stevie can nip when you grab him or he feels threatened but he LOVES affection and seeks it out from everyone. He is so soft, loves to give kisses and cuddle up on your lap for some love :)

About Luvable Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Luvable Dog Rescue (formerly known as Luv-A-Bull & Luv-A-Little Dog Rescue and Sanctuary) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) dog rescue organization located in Eugene, Oregon dedicated to rehoming small breed dogs and pit bulls who were once on death row. We are a group of passionate animal advocates, owners and rescuers dedicated to improved animal welfare and the fight against pet overpopulation.

Our motto of “Place, Pack and Purpose,” guides our rescue philosophy. “Place” refers to our peaceful and beautiful 55 acre wooded sanctuary which transforms neglected dogs into happy and healthy companions through playtime outdoors and miles of hiking. We use the “Pack” (both human and canine) to also heal, teach, and socialize the dogs, so that they can succeed at the dogs “Purpose” which is to be a loving companion and family member.

Luvable Dog Rescue dogs live either at our main kennel facility or with a foster family. Our dogs spend many hours a day with staff and volunteers, to enrich their lives and allow us to get to know them in order to place them in the most compatible home. Our dogs receive daily hikes on wooded trails, and enjoy play groups with other dogs, premium food, plenty of human company, mentally stimulating games, expert medical care, and a whole lot of love.
