O'Malley is a super smart pup that is looking for that special connection with someone! O'Malley gets along great with other dogs and has even been working on socializing some of our pitties! He LOVES to go on hikes, with his super long legs and larger build (around 30lbs) he is a great hiking or running buddy! O'Malley loves to do training and is very attentive, he loves to listen and watch you for direction-but without someone to stay on top of training, this smart boy could end up with some bad behavior so we believe he would do best with someone who is home a lot or able to take him with them until he fully matures from his puppy energy. He is incredibly smart and picks up things well. He would make an excellent trick training dog or agility dog! O'Malley LOVES kids, especially young boys, he always is so excited to hang out with kids :) This adorable boy loves anyone and everyone he meets! When O'Malley arrived at Luvable he had a terrible barking behavior we have been working on. He is now really good at listening when you tell him to stop and barks less often now that he is settled and loves his friends. If he is kept busy he does not bark, only when he is bored and no one is around. If you are interested in adopting this Luvable dog, email for an application!

About Luvable Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Luvable Dog Rescue (formerly known as Luv-A-Bull & Luv-A-Little Dog Rescue and Sanctuary) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) dog rescue organization located in Eugene, Oregon dedicated to rehoming small breed dogs and pit bulls who were once on death row. We are a group of passionate animal advocates, owners and rescuers dedicated to improved animal welfare and the fight against pet overpopulation.

Our motto of “Place, Pack and Purpose,” guides our rescue philosophy. “Place” refers to our peaceful and beautiful 55 acre wooded sanctuary which transforms neglected dogs into happy and healthy companions through playtime outdoors and miles of hiking. We use the “Pack” (both human and canine) to also heal, teach, and socialize the dogs, so that they can succeed at the dogs “Purpose” which is to be a loving companion and family member.

Luvable Dog Rescue dogs live either at our main kennel facility or with a foster family. Our dogs spend many hours a day with staff and volunteers, to enrich their lives and allow us to get to know them in order to place them in the most compatible home. Our dogs receive daily hikes on wooded trails, and enjoy play groups with other dogs, premium food, plenty of human company, mentally stimulating games, expert medical care, and a whole lot of love.
