Hello. I'm Audrey Hepburn in dog form. At least that is what my foster mommy says. My big brown eyes, black saddle, and white stockings remind her of Audrey Hepburn in a little black dress and long white gloves. My earlier life was too awful to talk about. I'm forgetting the horrible fear and danger I lived in when I was a baby. The people around me back then were mean, and I was very afraid. One day loud noises scared me so bad I ran away. I ran and ran and ran. Finally I was picked up by someone and taken to a new home. It was different from anything I had ever known. I received care and love I didn't know existed! My foster mommy has taught me many things. I tell her when I want to go outside, and I taught her a few games that I love to play with my favorite rope toy. (She is getting the hang of it now.) I go to my crate on command. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle. My mommy says I'm a world-class cuddler. Men still scare me at first, but if they are patient and kind, I warm up to them within a few days. Devotion is my calling and I prefer being your one and only. I bond deeply, attach at the heart, and will love you beyond measure. I am so grateful for my new life. Now all I need is a forever home. I promise you will not be disappointed. If there is a little empty space in you that needs to be filled, I am perfect for the job. I was probably born in 2010, and like Audrey Hepburn, I know how to be a perfect lady!

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
