Domino and his two sisters were born in a barn, and lived in the haystack until they were about 21 weeks old. At that time they were trapped and brought to the shelter. They are all friendly and playful. Domino looks completely black, until you check out his belly, which has a little bit of white on it. He is now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and ready for a home where he can play outside, but still be welcomed indoors for a safe place to sleep.

About Paws for Life Utah / Heber Valley Animal Shelter

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws for Life Utah is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs, cats and other "at risk" animals from municipal shelters find new, forever homes. We are a no-kill advocate, partnering with the Heber valley animal shelter, making them no-kill in 2013. Since then, we have expanded our reach throughout the state of Utah to rescue animals at risk. Our vision for the future is a "no kill" nation.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are available to meet by appointment only by calling our adoption coordinator Nancy OConnor at 802 558 9337. We do have 2 adoption events monthly at the Petco in Heber and the Petco in Park City and these events are listed on our website.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dog adoption fee is $100 and cat adoption fee is $40. We start with a phone interview to gather information to determine if initially it would be a good fit. We then have an application to be completed and in some circumstances a home visit.
