Amber is a sweet-tempered girl, about 18 lbs and approximately 5 years old. She needs some time to warm up to new people. However, when she does warm up, she is very loving and affectionate and gives great kisses. Amber probably would not be well suited for small children because she can be nervous especially in a new situation. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash and likes to ride in a car. Amber gets along with other dogs as long as they are not pushy with her. Amber is being fostered so if you'd like to meet her please email her foster mom at pokahighness@yahoo.com!Amber is currently in foster but would still LOVE to meet you! Email foster2@leecountyhumane.org to set up a meet and greet with this sweet girl.

Once you find a an animal you want to make your furever friend, you'll fill out an application. We'll read over and go over it with you. Once that's approved we'll set up a counseling session to go over all paperwork with you.

Dogs must go home in a collar and cats must leave in a carrier. Both of which can be purchased onsite.
