My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a 5 month old female yellow lab who currently weighs about 22 pounds. She needs to be spayed in mid-August and Lab Rescue will pay for it at one of our approved vets.

Stella is a sweet and friendly little girl who likes to play with other dogs. She is a typical puppy who will need to go to obedience training and get regular exercise. Stella is used to doing her business in a fenced area, so she will need a family with a physical fenced yard. She used to live with kids and is approved for kids of all ages. We don't have any cat history. Stella has been an excellent house guest!

She LOVES to play with other dogs and enjoyed a few outings to the dog park. She is great on leash and enjoys hanging out in the yard or on the porch with her humans after she plays. She is a smaller girl, and pretty much the perfect size. She sleeps with her human foster sister (teenager) and is quiet through the night. She's a great little pup and can't wait to find her forever family!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.) Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
