My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Melanie (HWTH#17216A). She is a Shepherd mix, DOB: 5/15/17 (her siblings are Mister and Mae). Melanie weighs 8 pounds with more growing to do (she will be a smallish medium-size dog when mature). These little ones are the product of stray dogs not being neutered and have been relinquished to Halfway to Home so they can find their Forever homes. Melanie is a sweet girl who likes to be held. She will probably be more active when she is comfortable in her new home and lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime, training and daily exercise will be a must. Melanie should also have an abundance of small chew toys at her disposal so she has an outlet for puppy chewing. Melanie is pen trained but will need to be house trained.
