My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Penelope (HWTH#16145D). She is a Poodle mix, DOB: 12/31/15. Penelope weighs approximately 13-15 pounds and stands 12 inches at the shoulders. She was relinquished to Halfway to Home because her owners did not have time to spend with her or train her. Penelope is an adorable, happy, loving and particularly high-energy little girl who is going to need an active new owner willing to love her, spend good-quality time with her, exercise her and train her. Penelope is partially house trained so attention will need to be paid to making sure she goes out on a regular basis to potty. She is also said to be vocal but that may be due to being left alone too much. With time and patience, Penelope's faults will fade and her loving personality will win out. Positive basic obedience training will help with the bonding process which will be beneficial to both canine and human. Penelope is good with other dogs and is crate trained.
