My name is Roscoe!

Abyssinian Cat for adoption in Sarasota, Florida - Roscoe

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Roscoe's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe was saved from the county kill shelter and brought into foster care where he blossomed. Roscoe loves to play, cuddle and use the scratching post, even though he is declawed. He is a very affectionate kitty that would do best in a home without other kitties. He has not been tested around dogs, but given his calm demeanor we think he would do fine with a calmer dog. Roscoe is very calm and easy going.

If you would like to know more about this handsome guy and/or schedule a meet and greet, please email his foster Erica LaPerriere at ericalaperriere@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Sarasota Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
