My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rita,

Rita is a friendly puppy about 11-13 weeks old and weighs about 13-15 pounds. She was rescued along with her sister Roxy from Anguilla. Anguilla is a beautiful island, but life can be difficult for dogs. Fresh water is hard to find as well as food. FHDR heard about these siblings and we transported them to the US to live in foster homes.

Rita's foster family says...."Rita is friendly, playful and sweet! She spends her days having fun playing with my dog, exploring outside and cuddling with my children. Rita likes to play with squeaky toys and she walks nice on the leash. She is an active puppy outside, but inside she is on the calm side. This easy going puppy loves to be with you! Rita is winning everyones heart!"

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day.

The breed & age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.
