My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Callie, and I am a torbie-with-white gal with 3 legs who was born in July 2014. A torbie with white is sometimes called a tabico because I'm like a calico cat except that I have brown tabby markings where a calico has black markings. Or you might say that I look like a brown tabby with white who has splotches of caramel sprinkled on me. Anyway, I'm beautifully marked to go along with my sweet, angelic face.
I'm a tripod or 3-legged kitty after my right front leg had to be amputated because it was mangled when I was trapped as a kitten. However, like most tripods, this doesn't slow me down a bit! I'm a well-socialized kitty because I've been the house cat at a vet practice since my surgery. So I've been doted upon by the clinic staff as well as run around loose among a lot of other cats and dogs who were patients at the practice. I thought that it was a blast serving as the vet's feline social hostess!
However, recently the clinic's business has expanded, and I've had to be caged all the time. As much as the staff loves me, they realize that this is no life for a sweet, outgoing kitty like me. So I am currently in a foster home with other cats and an old dog as I await finding my forever home. Although I've never been around children, I think that I would fit into a lot of family situations -- but especially with empty nesters or retired folks. Won't you come meet me today so I can shower you with all the love I have to give?
Callie is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Callie, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.
