Old lady in URGENT NEED!!'s Story...
Please help this senior lady!!! This is what the Shelter has to say about her. It is an Urgent call for Onyx. Her time is counted.
Her name is Onyx – 12 year old SF Lab that was surrendered by her owners because they “moved to a small apartment”. Onyx is a sweet old lady that has had her entire life turned upside down and just can’t understand why she wound up in a shelter. She was surrendered with some medications that the owner’s had her on for some eye concerns as well as some Carprofen, presumably for arthritis, but she gets around for her advanced age. We’re hoping that someone is able to assist in giving her a good life in her golden years.

If you are interested in helping this girl please fill out the application online: the Rescue will provide some help with the vet expense. We are looking for someone to take Onyx at home at give her a nice end of life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Old lady in URGENT NEED!!, a Ft Myers Beach Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Ft Myers Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Ft Myers Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft Myers Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft Myers Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft Myers Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
