My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stasha! We rescued this smaller sized (about 50 pounds) California babe from a high-kill shelter where she came in as a stray. Stasha is a 4 year old black and tan female German Shepherd who is looking for a low-key, calm, and mellow human that will always be by her side. She does have separation anxiety so would do best not left alone for long periods of time. We are tried several methods our trainer has suggested, including medication, to help with the separation anxiety with little success. Stasha is also a little fearful of men and older teenage boys, so would do best in a home without them. If you are still reading, great! Stasha is a very affectionate dog who loves to snuggle and take walks in quiet low-key areas. She is very protective of her people and super loyal. So if you have a lot of commotion and people coming and going from your home, she is not the dog for you. If you have children and teenagers living in your home that like to tease and pick on each other to the point that it annoys you, Stasha is not the dog for you. If there is a lot of wrestling and roughhousing in your home, Stasha is not the dog for you. If you want to take your dog to a parade/park/whatever kind of outing and have strangers love on it, then Stasha is not the dog for you. Stasha is spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccines, flea&tick and heartworm preventative. Stasha has lived with several other large breed dogs and does great with a proper introduction. So if we haven't scared you away and you are interested in meeting her, please visit our website at www.redemptionshepherd.com/online-forms to complete an application.
