Meet the original Dare Devil, a German Shepherd named Remy, approx. 2yrs and neutered. This handsome fellow is a whirlwind of good times! Remy is jovial and fun loving, he loves rides, toys, and bones. His favorite thing is playing fetch with his orange ball. Remy is a total water freak, he loves water more than anything! The beach, the lake, or just a hose in the face, Remy will take it all. Remy is great with most dogs upon proper introductions, but definitely not cats because they pick on him and scratch his face and it hurts! Remy is super great in a crate, mostly leash trained, super smart, super affectionate, and he is a royal stunner...regal in his majestic beauty. He knows sit and working on other commands. Remy is a rescue favorite, he is just that amazing. Did I mention Remy is blind? That's why I call him the Dare Devil! He has an uncanny sense of navigation, and he can see shapes in his side vision. We are looking for someone that will teach him to get around without using his face as an emergency brake, give him two structured walks a day, and hug him and kiss him until you are raw. Remy is a classic German Shepherd Dog and requires breed knowledge. Remy needs to be treated like any other GSD, but requires you to show him he is safe and introduce him to everyone. Be the boss and he will love you till it hurts. Please send us an inquiry to see if you are the perfect pair. Remy is vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped.

About R.A.I.N. Rescuing Animals In Need

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescuing Animals In Need (Federal Way) and Rain City Rescue (Mill Creek-Snohomish) had been sharing a Facebook and an Adopt A Pet website for years. The two rescue groups have always operated separately, rescued separately and handled their own adoptions and fosters..but it was getting somewhat complicated. Please visit our new web blog at www.rescuinganimalsinned-wa.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have an amazing network of loving dedicated foster homes predominantly in the South Puget Sound area so there is not a physical shelter location. Dogs and cats can be met by appointment only, unless attending an adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

We require you to fill out our adoption application to help us to get to know you, your living situation and what you are looking for in a pet. It will also help us to make sure the animal that you are interested in it the best fit for you and your life! Once we get the application we can proceed with the potential adoption.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please follow this link to submit online: http://goo.gl/forms/wecp9rki48

It is imperative that you complete the entire application and be 100% open and honest. We do verify information on the application such as residence status, veterinarian reference etc. Only applicants that are best suited for the animal will be considered and will proceed to the next step of the adoption process.

We do adopt to out of state adopters, however, you must travel here to Western WA to pick up your potential new dog or cat. We do not allow any of our animals to fly commercially, be picked up or transported by anyone other than the adopters. It’s important that the dogs and cats are met by the potential adopters in person prior to adoption.
