This adorable wrinkly guy is Weston. He's only 8 months old and is looking for that perfect forever home. Weston's family feels they aren't able to give him the attention and time he deserves, So DITR is here to help find that family who can give him the structure and love he needs. Weston is shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. He loves kids but due to his energy we feel respectful kids over 10 are best so he's not knocking down the little ones. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and has not been around cats at all. Besides playing in the yard his other favorite thing to do is cuddle and get belly rubs. If your interested in Weston please submit a application on our website.

About Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue is a non profit animal rescue organization that is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our mission is to protect the welfare of animals, one life at a time, from unnecessary euthanasia. From high kill shelters to foster homes to caring adoptive families, Diamonds in the Ruff handles every aspect of the rescue process. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive necessary medical treatment. Foster homes are used to provide sanctuary and ensure a successful placement. Our goal is to make the adoption process a kind, informative and rewarding experience because we believe that every animal can become a treasured family pet.

Why we do it:
4 million animals are euthanized each year in the United States.
That is 300,000 a month
Over 11,000 each day
Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue works tirelessly to decrease this statistic.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster based rescue, but do also have a small shelter. You can contact us at to setup an appointment to come out and check out some of our adoptables.

Our Adoption Process...

We require each applicant to complete an adoption application, followed by a home visit. We also contact personal and veterinarian references. We want to make sure that the next home our furbabies go to, is their last, and that they will be loved like a member of the family.
