Bmore Honey (white) was left outside the Baltimore Tattoo Museum in Upper Fells Point June 14. The owners called us to come pick them up. Upon arrival, she was soaked in urine, emaciated and had never been fed a proper diet. Her coat was dull, and she was merely bones. She weighed in at 1.2 pounds. Today, she is a healthy, friendly spayed female that enjoys outdoor time, and comes to greet you! She is 3.2 pounds, and around 6-8 months old. She does have separation anxiety if taken away from Sailor Jerry, and will refuse to eat. As such, they must be adopted as a bonded pair.

They have been cat and dog tested, and have begun litter box training. They both enjoy outdoor time in a predator safe pen (please make note they will dig and should never be left unattended outside). Proper hutch, with indoor access during bad, excessive heat or cold weather must be provided. These two cuties can be taken home together for an adoption fee of $60. If you'd like to meet them please first fill out the bunny application found on our website at

About Pugh Zoo Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We place animals in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes thorough applications/questionnaires/conversations, taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing an animal into their homes and lives.

Animals in our care are spayed/neutered if applicable, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in caring foster homes while they await placement in their forever homes.

Virtually every dollar taken in goes directly to the care of the animals. Our rescue remains interested in and committed to the welfare of the animal beyond the adoption process.

Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations across the country to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adoption please email us or visit our website to fill out an adoption application. Once received we will process the application within 24-72hrs (dependent on reaching references). If your application is denied you will receive an email from us stating so. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in with your entire household (including any current dogs). If all goes well at the meet and greet and you decide this is the dog to add to your family forever we will coordinate a time to do a home-visit. If the home is suitable we will finalize the adoption contract and you can begin your happily ever after with your new best friend!! <3
