Barry's Story...
All the puppies in this litter currently, appear to be identical in every way. We therefore will have the same bio for each, with a special notation under Nathaniel's bio.

Maybelle's puppies were born on May 25th. There were five girls and three boys and all were very healthy. MayBelle herself, was found as a stray already pregnant. Barks and Meows Rescue had her in their care for 10 days before she gave birth. She has been a fantastic mother and it's obvious that she has had previous litters before as she knew exactly what to do. Mom is a Coonhound and by the looks of these puppies, dad is as well. These puppies are large and we believe they will be large sized dogs when fully grown, 55 lb Plus.

This litter is very endearing. All are sweet, loving and affectionate. None of them are nippy, just kissy. They have short fur and long legs. They have great appetites and have been on Royal Canin medium breed puppy food since they were 5 weeks old. They have been on bottled water for their entire lives. All of these sweeties are paper trained. They have been dewormed every two weeks since birth, as has MayBelle.

On July 22nd They will receive their first set of vaccines, including
Bordetella. They will then be ready to leave for their new adoptive homes.

A fully fenced yard and a veterinarian reference/history is mandatory in order to apply for Barry.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barry, a Duart Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Duart, or seeking a Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
