Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I know you just did a double take on my page. I'm not the real dog from Game of Thrones, I'm Zeus! Obviously just has handsome and I'm very special with so many people in my life that love me. I'm 7 1/2 years young, 86lbs of pure love (with more room to pack on some winter weight) and the most beautiful white dog you've ever seen! Oh and I'm a pure bred German Shepherd! And no, that's not a scab on my nose, I have what's called Discoid Lupus which is an autoimmune disease that caused the skin around my nose to peel away because I became allergic to my own tissue. Not to worry though, it won't end my life and it's treatable with medication but I'll be on it for the rest of my life. Exposure to UV light like sunlight can make it worse, so unlike where I came from, I'll need to be an inside dog. So now to tell you about my past. I lived my whole life outside, rain, shine, hot and cold. Then one day the family I "lived" with decided to get a bunch of puppies and they didn't want me anymore. So they decided that although I'm healthy and have a lot of life to live I needed to be put down. I'm lucky, because the place they took me wouldn't allow that to happen and they took me into their care and that's when the good folks at Mobile Mutts Rescue said "yes" to me and are determined to see me in the home I should have been in from day one! I'm SUPER gentle with everyone and I know commands like sit, paw and I'm so gentle taking treats you can't even feel my mouth touch your fingers. Now since I was an only dog my whole life I'll need to remain that way in your home, so no birds, dogs or cats. However, I promise that my love and the companionship I'll give you every day will far out weigh not having other animals around!
