Gabriella's Story...
Remember the dark-haired Gabriella from High School Musical? Well, meet her counterpart! Gabriella is a dark haired beauty, and I mean Beauty with a capital B! She has gorgeous tortoiseshell markings and the sweetest face in the world. When you pet her it feels like you're petting a bunny because her hair is so soft. Gabby came into rescue as a stray but has "strayed" into all of our hearts. She loves to be petted and will roll around hoping for a tummy rub. Despite showing up as a stray she shows no inclination to go outside at all. She is a delightful little girl who will make someone very, very happy! Gabby is about three years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Her front paws are declawed. She has been heartworm tested (negative) and given flea and tick preventative. Anyone looking to adopt a kitty would be thrilled to adopt her into the household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabriella, a Waukesha Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waukesha, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Waukesha.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waukesha already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waukesha breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waukesha paves the way for another one to be saved.
