My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mickey is an 8 yr old Terrier mix and weighs approx. 18 lbs. His former owner had to give him up when she became to ill to look after him. He had been with her since a puppy and she bought him as a Yorkie/Poodle off of Kijiji.... he looks more like a small Aredale with coarse hair. He does shed a bit so wouldn't be good for anyone with allergies.
Mickey gets along with small dogs but is apprehensive around big dogs and tries to show his dominance around them. This could be easily worked with to overcome it. Mickey was a bit spoiled in his original home and does resource guard his toys from other animals and can be a bit growly when trying to get him to do something he doesn't want to do. He needs to be shown he isn't the boss. Mickey's former owner states he was good with her grandchildren but won't be placed in a home where young children live 24/7
Mickey was raised with cats so should be ok. He is very good in the car, pulls on leash when walking, and is playful. He does have a high pitch bark so wouldn't be good for condo or apartment.
