Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A lot of people to see Maskoki may mistake him for a Chihuahua mix. Who knows, perhaps there is Chihuahua in there....rescue pups are always such a mystery, lol!....but his mother is a Poodle/Schnauzer mix and the litter all told is terrier-ish in their character. We anticipate he will mature to 20 lbs, but there is no way of telling....momma weighs 26 lbs, although some puppies (including Maskoki) are on the smaller side. He has been raised in rescue from day one and is ten weeks old as of 7/15. This is a VERY sweet boy who loves attention, is playful and interactive, and his temperament is very soft, and he is a sensitive little boy. His mother comes out of a hoarding situation and was very scared when first raising her litter, so they did not receive the best imprint initially. Maskoki has come along superbly, but needs a family who will continue his socialization and positive life experience. He is incredibly tactile and cuddly, loves to rub against your face (a personal quirk, lol!) and has a very gentle manner.
THE RIGHT HOME for Maskoki will be a gentle household experienced with raising a puppy with the time and savvy to commit to them. He loves kids, but is on the mouthy side and too gentle a spirit to be a good fit for homes with smaller children. He has a heart melting sweetness and is impossible not to fall in love with. He will mature to an ideal companion raised right.
