Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Oliver! He's a very special little guy, in need of a very special home. Oliver is 8 years old and 9 pounds. He is the most polite little boy and a true joy to have in his foster him. He is quiet and calm, but you can entice him to play! He barks occasionally, but it's a cute little gruffly bark. Oliver is a bit shy and sometimes forgets he doesn't have to spend his time by himself. He likes to cuddle, but you have to invite him to join you! He'll also play with toys, but only if you're playing too. He rides in the car perfect, does very well in a kennel (in fact he frequently chooses to sleep in his kennel), and is totally potty trained. Oliver loves big squishy dog beds! He loves to lay on the deck and enjoys a good roll on in the grass. He is content to sleep in bed with you or safe in his kennel, but be warned - he SNORES! Oliver has some arthritis in his hips and a sticky knee. This gives him a little wobble sometimes. He's perfectly happy the way he is, but his new owners must be aware and committed to his life long care. Oliver has had some bad experiences with children and he will not be adopted to a home with small children or one where small children visit frequently. Children over 14 may be okay. Oliver doesn't mind other dogs and ignores cats. He would do best with another low energy dog, as high activity and loud noises are not his favorite! Oliver deserves a mommy/daddy that will be totally devoted to him, in return you will get to watch his personality blossom! Oliver is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, had a dental, and neutered. Oliver’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org
