My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petunia is a 5-7 year old Beagle mix. She is about 27 lbs., up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, house trained and crate trained. We believe she is spayed although the vet wasn't 100% sure. We are choosing to wait to see if she has a heat cycle rather than put her through exploratory surgery to clarify the spay. Tuni is a snuggle buggle sort of girl. She enjoys going on walks or being outside in the back yard with you. But, she also is a Netflix and chill sort of girl. So, if you like to binge watch your favorite shows, Tuni is the girl for you. She is cat and dog friendly and enjoys taking local car rides to her favorite pet store or to visit friends and family. She is extremely good on the leash and is cooperative for baths at home. I can't say enough good things about this little sweety! FOSTER UPDATE: She has no interest in playing with toys or chewys. She's fairly low energy but happy go lucky. Her preferred activities are definitely either going on walks or snuggling. She's a really easy going, easy to take care of lady.

If you do not adopt through MAS Rescue or your application is rejected, this serves as your notice of the application fee policy. The Adoption Fee is $300.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This dog has been examined by our vet, spayed or neutered (if not previously done), vaccinations updated, heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling.
