To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Gretchen, please visit our website below
Gretchen is the proud mother of our H litter. The father was Apollo, who is also available for adoption. Their owner needed surgery and was not able to care for Apollo, Gretchen, nor the H litter, so he asked Coastal GSR for help and we took them all in. Gretchen is 4 years old and lived in the backyard with Apollo and the puppies. We are not sure if she ever lived inside of a house. She was filthy when we got her but she was in good health and vaccinated. We had her spayed and she is now ready to experience life as part of a family. She is good-natured but very excitable and needs training. She had limited exposure to other dogs and to people, but we're socializing her and she's progressing nicely.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
