Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Need a close friend to tell your secrets to? Ellen is your trusted friend ready to help you work through your feelings!
Ellen’s sheer gentleness is guaranteed to pass on her calmness to you. Hug her and know that she is listening!
The secret keeper and shoulder to cry on. Ellen is nothing more than that sweet, quiet, gentle and easy friend that everyone loves to tell secrets to and to find comfort in their gentle presence. She’s an affectionate dog but needs to come to trust you first. Once she does, she’ll try to be as close to you as much as possible, and may even crawl into your lap for cuddles and kisses! She likes meeting new friends but you won’t visibly see her get excited, except for an occasional whine when she want to meet a new doggie buddy!
Gentle manners. Ellen’s gentleness shows in her behavior. She’s super calm and slow and seems to take everything with a grain of salt. Leave her home alone, attach a leash to her, or give her baths, she’ll just enjoy the time she has with you or to herself.
Keep it slow and easy. Ellen takes her time with things so she isn’t into super long walks and most likely wouldn’t appreciate having to run! Ellen is more of the wall flower than social butterfly but is okay with meeting dogs her own size. She doesn’t really care for small dogs.
Ellen would be best with a laid back family. A canine sibling would be amazing as long as they can match Ellen’s size. Let’s bring home the family confidante!
