Hello, my foster mum calls me Ruby.
I was brought to HSSM as a stray with heartworms and a bum foot, but somewhere I learned how to love. I am a 4 year old who loves cuddles and kisses. I know Sit, Stay, Paw, Gentle, No, Come see, Don't eat the kitty, Don't eat the chickens, treat, catch, wanna go bye-bye, and don't lick your foot. I
am still learning how to walk on a leash. I just get so excited, and want to go go go. I loved going to lunch with my Foster family. I have been to Mug Shots, The Dock, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Dogs are welcome at most places with outdoor seating. I love to play in the hose and eat the water. I got along with my foster sisters and brother, all 5 of them. I learned a healthy fear of my foster mums cats, but I still like to chase them now and then. I loved my Lydia human who is 11. She was so sweet to me. I miss her. I do not jump fences, or dig holes. I like to be in the yard, but I like to be around my people more. Storms scare me so please do not leave me out in the rain. I am crate trained, and I am doing very good with the house training. I love toys and bones from the butcher, but when it is time to put it away you can take it right out of my mouth, I will only give you sad eyes. When I eat you can take my food away, and again you will only get sad eyes from me. I did not want to share my bowl with my foster sisters and brother. There was just too many of them and they are greedy. Especially the 4lb Chichi, Between you and me I think she is unstable, but she was the first one to warm up to me. When you first bring me home I will be very excited and may forget my manners. Please be patient with me. I will quickly remember, and adapt to your rules and lifestyle.
My adoption fee is sponsored by my foster mum. She says I am a good girl, and I deserve a loving forever family.
