Bio:

I am Elizabeth Taylor; my foster mom calls me Lizzie. I am a pretty, sleek black 8 month old dog from Louisiana. I am a 16 lb spayed female rescue mix. My mom was a chiweenie but I have such long slender legs and striking form that people wonder if I might have rat terrier or whippet in my genetics. I am good with walking on a leash and I love to run swiftly around the fenced yard with the other little dogs who live here. I seldom make messes in the house if let out on a regular basis. I go willingly in my crate when my fosters are gone to work. I get a yummy treat when I go in the crate, so I like going there, and I have a nice, soft fleece to lie on as well as a nice nylabone. I get a little scared in big places like Petsmart. Bigger dogs intimidate me, so slow introduction is best. I am still young, so I like to have a good nylabone to chew on and cloth toys to play with. I like chasing a ball, too. If the other dogs are not playing nice, I whine or make a noise that sounds a lot like an oboe tuning up.

I have kitties at my house. I like the kitties, but they are not so fond of me. They don't seem to like my doggy kisses. I am not a nippy dog.

I am shy with new people, but long for a human to love. I like to snuggle up next to someone at night. I get so excited when my foster mom comes home. I love to be petted and hugged and I like to kiss her on her neck by her ear.
