Hi Everyone,
I'm Tommy Zeke. The first step in adopting me is to visit www.goboxerrescue.com and fill out the application to adopt.
I'm about 3 years old and around 65 lbs. I was found as a stray and adopted about 2 years ago. I came back to GOBR after my mom said that I jumped too much and she couldn't keep up with me. Luckily I'm a very smart boy and learned some manners quickly with my foster mom. I just needed someone who was willing to learn my language and work with me. I also learned very quickly where our toy basket is. Man do I love toys! I especially love to play tug of war with my foster sister. Car rides are also a favorite of mine, even if it's just a quick ride around the block. I'm very well behaved during the day when my foster moms at work, I don't even have to go in a kennel (thank goodness because I hate those). I love to go for walks, and listen really well on a leash. I would love an active family or a home with a backyard I could run in.
I live with 2 dogs and a cat right now, and usually we all get along fine, but I like to try to be in charge. For that reason I need a family who can be "leaders" for me and reinforce my training. Once I realized my foster mom was the boss, I became much more secure and comfortable in my new temporary home. Over all I'm a very sweet, very smart boy who loves to play. I would be the perfect dog for someone who enjoys training and teaching tricks.
