Here's what the humans have to say about me:
George was found as a stray and ended up at a shelter where we were able to do a rescue pull. He was extremely timid and very scared, but has opened up and become quite a bit more affectionate already after only a week with in his foster home. He's only a year or two old, and resembles a BeanieBoo with his huge, dark eyes and soulful expression. George, a small pug/chihuahua mix who weighs around 10 pounds, likes to hide in small spaces and squeeze under and around things. It takes him several days to warm up to people, but once he does, he is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves kisses and belly rubs. George gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, but has not yet been around cats so we don't know how he'd do with them. Because George is shy and slow to warm up at first, he needs to go to a home without children, or with kids older than age 8 who are able to be patient and wait to love on George until he is ready for their affection. George is house broken and does fine being left in the house unrestricted. He loves to sleep in the human bed, where he crawls under the blankets and makes himself right at home. George will make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right people who are patient and able to give him enough space and time to get comfortable and feel at ease.
