Flounder is about 8 years old. He's very calm, easygoing, and eager for attention. Flounder loves people and gets along with other dogs, cats, and even donkeys! Flounder enjoys short walks to his food bowl and long naps on a couch. He has a lot of happy years ahead and can't wait for a loving forever home of his very own, so please apply to adopt Flounder today!
Greetings! We are a non-profit organization devoted to the rescue of homeless basset hounds in Houston, TX, and surrounding regions. Bassets are rescued from shelters or received as owner turn-ins and placed into foster homes. Medical conditions are addressed and all unaltered animals spayed and neutered prior to being adopted by their new "forever families". In addition to rescue efforts, our group is also focused on promoting a sense of community amongst those who are owned by a basset hound (or would like to be).
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
