My name is Romeo and I am a giant lover! I am almost 14 pounds of purring machine :) I was raised as an only cat and therefore I am spoiled, but it's ok because I like it this way. I am eating dry food now, my foster dad weaned me off of the wet stuff because I needed to lose some weight. Being that I spent the first 6 years of my life as an "only child" I do not particularly care for my foster mates. I tend to get bossy and a bit jealous if I see that someone is getting the attention that should be mine. Due to this I would be best in a single cat household. I am fully vetted and use the litter box like a good boy. If you would like to schedule a time to meet me please call 507-451-4512 and talk to Becky, she will get you in touch with the right people.

About Steele County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We all know that kittens/puppies have a lot of spunk and energy and are perfect for some people. However, by adopting a more mature animal, you bypass the active kitten/puppy phase and it allows you to take the guess work out of what your pet will be like after he/she does some growing.

The Steele County Humane Society, Incorporated is a not for profit organization dedicated to:
* Providing quality foster care for homeless cats and dogs.
* Encouraging the adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
* Encouraging spaying and neutering to reduce the pet overpoplulation.

We rely on the love and care of volunteers to foster our animals until a permanent home can be found and are in desperate need of people willing to open their hearts and homes to these pets in need. Please call 507-451-4512 for more information.
