Hi, my name is Dakota, I was surrendered to the shelter in February of 2017 due to my previous owners no longer wanting the responsibility of so many dogs, they had no spay/neutered any of their pets and the pets just kept reproducing and ultimately ended up at the shelter. I am the last of the bunch that was surrendered, and although I have lived at the shelter for quite some time I don't let that get my spirits down, I am a happy young lad who enjoys the company of both humans and other dogs. Recently, I went into foster care to live in a home while waiting to be adopted, and I had forgotten just how great it is to have a home and family! I have other canine brothers and sisters I get to play with, but we do most of our playing in the backyard, then we come inside for a nap. I even have a human kid brother to play with, he takes me on lots of walks and lets me sleep in bed with him. My foster family say I am just an absolute delight, I am well mannered and affectionate, and I am doing great on my house breaking. If you are interested in meeting me fill out an adoption application and contact HSSET today to arrange a meet and greet!

Remember, adoption is a 15yr commitment, please adopt responsibly.
