We are a no kill shelter in Western NC. We do local adoptions and an out of state transport about every six weeks to further our adoptions. We save 1500 animals a year in NC and hope to increase that number by out of state adoptions. We pull all of our animals out of a high kill pound. Once an animal is at our shelter they are here until they are adopted.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Because the animals are housed in NC a preadoptoion meeting is not available . However, phone calls, video ,and honest answers are.
Our Adoption Process...
This is an out of state adoption program from North Carolina that transports to the New England area to aproved adopted homes. We currently transport to PA, VA , and MD only. Although adopters from any state in are welcome, as long as you can come to pick up your new family member.
The adoption fees vary for each individual animal. The fee covers spay or neutering, vaccines, deworming, heart worm tests/treatments,micro chipping, and transportation . If you are interested in an animal please see the animals bio for an adoption fee.
