The Licking County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization devoted to the humane treatment of animals. LCHS seeks to further the mission by sheltering and adopting, advocating and promoting quality care, educating the public, and reducing overpopulation by spaying and neutering. LCHS is a NO-KILL shelter which provides a safe haven for dogs and cats while they transition from their past lives to their future, "forever" homes. LCHS relies solely on donations and largely on volunteers to do vital work in the community.
Congratulations on your decision to adopt a shelter dog or cat. We ask that you take a moment and read through our Adoption Process. If you still have questions and would like to talk with someone, please contact the shelter at (740) 323-2100.
