Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue, Inc.(GLMR) exists to place stray or abandoned English Mastiffs in adoptive homes which will provide a high level of care and where the spirit of the GLMR Code of Ethics is observed. The Rescue / Placement Service may assist Mastiff owners, who for any reason can no longer provide a home for their Mastiff."
These web pages are devoted to the GLMR Rescue/Placement of English Mastiffs in the Great Lakes Region, which includes the following states: Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Wisconsin. To find information on mastiffs for adoption in other states, click on the "Other Mastiff Rescue Websites" link in the links section of the site.
To see some of the English Mastiffs which are currently available in the Great Lakes Region for adoption, click on the Available Mastiffs link on the top of this page. These dogs are in Mastiff Rescue and are either in foster homes, or are in need of a foster home, and are waiting for someone to adopt them. There are dogs available that may not yet be listed on the site and may still be a good match for you. Even if you don't see the dog you like please complete the Family Profile form and a volunteer in your area will soon be in touch.
