Facts about Ace

  • Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer/Pointer Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 33727117
Ace (short haired) and Redd (wire haired) were found together and are incredibly bonded. They freak out if separated and are therefore looking for a home together!

Both are friendly, happy-go-lucky, playful and outgoing. Despite their appearance (and our breed listing) they are not full blooded GSP or anything for that matter. They are little guys and will stay little! Redd is a chubby/stocky (though not fat) 25 lbs and Adce is only 15-20 lbs. They will not get any bigger.

Ace and Redd are currently in a foster home and not available for viewing at the shelter. For more information about these guys or to find out when/where to meet them, please call 803-783-2119 (leave a detailed message including your phone #.) You can also email us at aplpets@bellsouth.net but this is a bit less efficient.

About Animal Protection League

Our Adoption Process...

There is an adoption fee of $100 for all cats and kittens. All felines are tested for FIV and FeLV prior to adoption. Dog adoption fees range from $175-$225. All canines over the age of 6 months are tested for heartworms. All of our animals, regardless of species are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.

Please feel free to email our shelter and request an adoption application for any of our animals! While it can be filled out in person at our shelter, many folks find it easier to fill one out ahead of time. Processing an application generally takes about a week.
