Amber and Sophia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Amber and Sophia's Story...
Amber and Sophia are bonded housemates. They are both about 3 years old. They are great with everyone they meet--people, children, dogs, and cats. They are both spayed and UTD on vaccines, as well as microchipped. Amber and Sophia were surrendered to the rescue together because their owner was sick and entering an assisted living facility. They are an amazing pair and we would love to find a home for them TOGETHER! Please do not inquire if you are only interested in one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber and Sophia, a Bronx Shih Tzu/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Maltese for sale in Bronx, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Maltese dog from a breeder in Bronx.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bronx already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bronx breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Maltese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bronx paves the way for another one to be saved.
