Shy Marlene (Dietrich) was rescued as a feral kitten and cared for by her caretaker for 9 years! A neighbor looking to sell a home called Animal Control on her caretaker, forcing her cats to be relocated from the only home they have ever known. Marlene has handled it fairly well. Though she is independent, and would do fine alone or with one or 2 others, she gets along ok with most other cats. A home with dogs or kids would not be a good fit. She is very shy at first, but loves pets and long naps. She is affectionate, but not a lap cat by any means. As she is an older girl, a calm home where she will be spoiled would be best.
