Facts about Sid
Breed: Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
I am already neutered.
Sid is a Shepherd mix who is about 5 years old. Sid walks nice on his leash and knows his basic commands. He has good manners when out of his kennel and seems to be housebroken. He passed his cat test and with slow introductions may be ok with your current kitty. Sid will do best in a calmer home environment with adults or older teen children. We can tell that Sid was a house dog and does not feel comfortable in the shelter environment. Sid was microchipped through an animal shelter in Florida so we know he has been bounced around in life. It is time for him to be a part of a forever family. If you are looking to rescue your new best friend, Sid promises to be a loyal companion if given the chance. Stop in and ask to meet him out of his kennel.
The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space. We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning. On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
Our Adoption Process...
All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age. An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.
