This stunning beauty is Nova, a sweet kitten who was surrendered at a local shelter when she was just four weeks old after being found as a stray. She was rescued by The Philly Kitty and placed in a foster home with her sister, Star. Both Nova and Star live with a disability called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This means the parts of their brain that control motor function are underdeveloped, and therefore it makes them more prone to stumbling and falling. Affectionately, CH kitties are called Wobbly Kitties because they wobble all over the place. CH can have varying degrees, and were fairly confident in saying Nova is likely on the Moderate spectrum of CH. She eats and drinks fine (but can occasionally be a little messy messy, so we recommend metal bowls on a placemat), and uses her litterbox well (though she does occasionally fall in her box so she may require a bit of a spa treatment every now and then to keep her smelling beautiful). She loves to play with other kitties, especially her sister, Star. Nova is definitely more of a diva, though. She may take awhile to warm up to you and let you into her private circle - but once you're in, you're golden. Please consider adopting Nova!
