Meet Anchovie! He is around 4 years old and arrived at our shelter after being rescued by our Humane Officers. Anchovie has a crinkly ear that gives him a cute and unique look. He did test positive for FIV but we know that does not affect his quality of life. Anchovie can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but warms up very quickly. His favorite spot to be pet is around his cheeks and head area. Anchovie has longer fur that he enjoys having brushed and groomed. if you;re looking for a laid back cat to join your family, stop by our shelter and ask to meet Anchovie today!

FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This affects only cats and cannot be spread to humans or other animals. Cats with FIV are able to live normal lifespans. FIV is not transferable through shared food and water bowls, litter boxes, mutual grooming, etc.

Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. In order to adopt, we ask you to fill out an adoption profile so we can find out which of our animals would fit best in your home and family! Adoption profiles are available on our website, under the Adopt a Rescue tab. Available animals are also listed on our website with a short biography!
One of our adoption counselors will meet with you after we have received a completed adoption profile.
