  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 35205646
Sami and Coco were recently surrendered after their owner was no longer able to care for the two of them. Sami (the one on the right) is an 8.5 year old Boxer mix that weighs about 60 pounds and Coco is a 7.5 year old Terrier mix that weighs about 30 pounds. They have been together their whole lives and LOVE each other very much, because of the bond this dynamic duo have we are requiring that they be adopted together. When first meeting some new people, Coco can be a little shy and because of this we are recommending a home with older children. After a little time, Coco and Sami warm up and love getting all the pets and attention that you have to spare. Sami loves playing with toys and Coco enjoys lounging around and watching. Coco has some neurological issues going on with her back-end, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying life and she gets around fine. They would do best as being the only canine companions in the home. If you think you have room in your home and heart for this bonded pair, stop in and meet these special ladies today!

Our Adoption Process...

All of our animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flead and micro-chipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. In order to adopt, we ask you to fill out an adoption profile so we can find out which of our animals would fit best in your home and family! Adoption profiles are available on our website, under the Adopt a Rescue tab. Available animals are also listed on our website with a short biography!
One of our adoption counselors will meet with you after we have received a completed adoption profile. Upon application approval, they will discuss animals that are available for adoption and from there, they can guide you through the adoption process. They are available to answer any questions you may have about the animal and eager to help you find your new friend!
