My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet me at Petco in Collierville on E. Shelby Drive at Houston Levee on Saturday, August 26th from 11am to 2pm!
Cooper, lab mix 1 1/2 year old, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, great with kids, dogs, cats, hates squirrels, out of the chewing phase, active and fun, trained, sits, lays down, fetch, paw, sleeps in crate/designated area, needs a loving family. He weighs 103 pounds. Copper was adopted as a pup from us. His family had a job offer out of state and are moving. He is house trained. He will go to kennel on 'go to bed' and stay in with the door open. Not great on leash. He had a daycare a couple weeks back for 3 nights. That family had an infant and 5yo, they said he was great. My older daughter had a cat and he slept with the cat until it left. We fostered a kitten and he played with it too, he knows play boundaries and has yet to cause a cat to yelp. He likes ear and neck and back scratches. Since he is tall enough if your hand hangs over the couch he will rub against it with his face and back like a cat.
Husband had very short notice for job in Virginia, staying interim with friends and they are allergic to dogs, we cannot take him with us.

Cooper's adoption fee is $120.
